Short Writing Assignment #2

            Over the generations one has developed different, unique, and eye catching multimodal texts styles to catch the audiences attention with communicating ones message through technology. Multimodality to me is best described as a technique that one uses such as a social networking sites; television broadcast, newspapers or even photographs in magazines that all have a combination of different components to get their message across to society. The importance multimodality has on society is that it transports the message one wants to express to different parts of the world and it also approaches the different communication styles but just as society changes overtime technology has to keep up with society and this is where multimodality technique comes into play. Lastly, the significance it portrays in my every day life is I go on social networks and watch television broadcasts almost everyday where I come across different images, gestures one makes, ones facial movements, and the different styles of written or spoken languages. Without doing these things not only would I be lost on what is going on with the world it would be hard for one to adjust oneself without having the multimodality technique around
